The DeWalt DC318BK is a 28-Volt Cordless Jig Saw With NANO Technology that is powered by the DeWalt high efficiency motor and 28 volt nano-phosphate lithium ion battery that is NOT included. The Cordless Jig Saw is light weight and weighs only 7.2 lbs which is one third of a pound less than a traditional 18 volt jig saw. The design of the DeWalt DC318BK allows for improved control and versatility in many different materials and applications with it’s 1 stroke length and 0-2,700 spm with an electric brake. Plus the aggressiveness of cut and speed can be controlled by a four positioned orbital action feature. The lever action keyless blade clamp is designed with all metal for quick and easy blade changes. In addition, to provide versatility for easy bevel cutting, the cordless jig saw has an all-metal keyless shoe with detents at 0, 15, 30, and 45 degrees. For increased comfort and control, the DeWalt DC318BK has an anti-slip comfort grip as well as an adjustable dust blower that improves cut accuracy and helps keep the line of cut clear from debris.
