The DeWalt DW4809B is a 9 inch, 14 teeth per inch reciprocating saw blade. The blade is bi-metal — a combination of steel and 8% cobalt that make the blade durable. The raker tooth design increases the tooth contact area and hepls to reduce vibration as the blade saws its way through. Another feature is the thickness: the DW4809B is thicker than standard blades thereby reducing breakage. An anti-stick coat is applied throughout the length of the blade to prevent the blade getting ’sticky’. The anti-stick coat provides for lesser resistance on the blade thereby allowing the blade to cut through faster and more accurately.
