The raker tooth design increases the tooth contact area and hepls to reduce vibration as the blade saws its way through. Another feature is the thickness — the DW4866B is thicker than standard blades thereby reducing breakage. An anti-stick coat is applied throughout the length of the blade to prevent the blade getting ’sticky’. The anti-stick coat provides for lesser resistance on the blade thereby allowing the blade to cut through faster and more accurately.
